Puppy Checklist: Toys
![]() |
Toys are an important item to have when you bring your new puppy home. Puppies love to explore, play and chew so it's important to have a small variety of toys to choose from, depending on their mood. If your puppy is in the mood to chew hard rather than play, check out bully sticks and rawhide. See below for our recommendations on great toys for young puppies.
![]() | Planet Dog Puppy Orbo With a chew rating of 4 out of 5 chompers, the Planet Dog Orbo is wonderful for teething pups. The orbo has a fun shape that bounces wildly when thrown and also has a "treat spot" for putting treats and food to keep puppies interested in their toy. Great for leaving with the puppy in his crate or ex-pen during containment periods. Lil Pup Orbo - $6.98 |
![]() | Tuffies Juniors Tuffies Juniors are smaller version of the VERY tough "Tuffies" line. On a tuff scale of 1 to 10, the Juniors rank 6. They aren't indestructible but they are VERY tough. Soft enough for younger pups to squeak and small enough for them to carry, they make a great puppy toy. (Intended for interactive play ONLY. It is your job as a puppy owner to teach your puppy how to "play" with toys, rather than destroy them.) Junior Flyer Ring - $9.98 |
![]() | Extra Small Kong Squeakers The Kong squeaker toys are low stuffing toys that come with a replaceable squeaker. It does double duty as both a toy and a training aid. This is a softer toy and can be destroyed if left with your puppy, so please use it as an interactive toy ONLY. Duckie XS - $2.98 |
![]() | Zanies Minty Rope Toy Rope toys are great for when your puppy wants to romp, chase and retrieve.
