New Puppy Checklist: Treats & Chews

Puppy Teeth - The Ouch Factor!  Your puppy will exploring her world through her mouth.  Chewing and gnawing are part and parcel of raising a puppy, and arming yourself with the proper chews is very important.  Edible, digestible chews are great for those times when your puppy's jaws are aching to gnaw on something.  They are also great to give your puppy during containment time in her crate or ex-pen.

You will also need to keep training treats on hand.  Puppies learn quickly when they're young and it's up to you to consistently reward behavior you want your puppy to continue: sitting and waiting to be petted, not bolting through doorways, coming to you when you call her name, pottying outside.  In order to avoid upsetting your puppy's diet, you should choose SMALL healthy treats made with quality ingredients.  Check out our recommendations below.
