Thirty Years Experience - Jan McQuade, owner & graduate of the New York School of Dog Grooming
Jan McQuade is a certified master groomer since 1973 and a graduate of the New York School of Dog Grooming. With her 30 years of experience you can be assured that you and your pet will be satisfied with her grooming skills. There will never be the need for a tranquilizer, just loving hands. We offer hand scissoring, no heating elements and forced air fluff-drying.
Jan was one of the first Certified Master Groomers in the U.S. (Cert # 16).
Certification involved continuing education, safety and health concerns, hands-on grooming and written testing on all breeds of dogs.

We are concerned not only with the proper appearance of your pet, but also his health and well being. We use only the best shampoos and conditioners. We do not use the cheaper harsh detergents and soaps that are prevalent in most grooming establishments. We use moisturizers for dry coats and medicated shampoos for skin problems. We never cage dry a wet dog and we always fluff the coats with cool air to remove shedding hair, to prevent drying out skin and coat, and for safety reasons.
